This course is ideal for any individual who has limited to no medical training. This certification does meet the job, industry, regulatory, and other requirements for workplace safety. AHA Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED is the most comprehensive course on these topics. It teaches students how to respond and manage different situations until EMS can respond to the scene, this includes the topics of: first aid basics (bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock, other first aid emergencies) , medical emergencies, injury emergencies, environmental emergencies, adult CPR/AED, and child/infant CPR/AED.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.

  • Price: $75.00 – this price includes the mandatory work book and registration on the AHA website.
  • 2022 Schedule:

    • Course length is approximately 5.5 to 7.5 hours long
    • Maximum six students per instructor. (If more than six students are requested per single class offering for a private class, additional instructor fees may apply or recommended to hold multiple classes)
