With our innovative approach to memory care, Castle Senior Living has created a dynamic program, called “A Smile to Remember,” enriching the lives of our residents. We want to change the way people think about dementia through our specialized education and exclusive training program. Providing a nurturing and safe environment, residents in our Memory Care communities can wander safely, feel comfortable and become engaged in activities. With over 25 years of experience, Castle Senior Living has become the leader in providing exceptional care to those with dementia.
A Smile to Remember
This program is Castle Senior Living’s unique approach to memory care. It was designed to keep residents smiling and enjoying life. Smiling is the universal sign for happiness. Even those with advanced dementia can reciprocate the feeling of a genuine smile. It can lower blood pressure, anxiety, and improve mood. Designed by our Dementia Care Practitioner and our team of medical experts, this program simplifies the way people think about dementia. It guides our staff to build healthy relationships, develop person-centered approaches, and nourish the resident’s needs.
Castle Senior Living is proud to provide compassionate hospice care for your loved ones. Why We Are Different
We are a local family-owned and operated company! We value our relationships with families, friends and employees. And one of our goals is to make a positive difference in local communities.
Our compassionate environment and loving support has always been an important part of our family values. With over 25 years of experience, our family has been dedicated to providing quality care and loving support to seniors to improve their quality of life.
Home Cooked Meals
Our delicious home-cooked meals will be sure to please even the pickiest of eaters. We can also adjust our menu options to resident preferences and special diets.
Real Home Environments
Home environments offer residents the opportunity to partake in purposeful household activities and maintain their independence. Castle Senior Living residents still live in a home within a residential neighborhood and are a valued part of the community.
Registered Nurse on Staff
A Registered Nurse is on staff and on-call 24 hours a day to assist with any medical needs that may arise at uncertain hours.
Individualized Care Plans
Individualized Care Plans are established with each resident to create a holistic approach to health. One of the primary focuses is on injury prevention and wellness improvement.
Resident satisfaction is one of our top priorities. Each resident and their family have an opportunity throughout the year to give us anonymous feedback through our survey process. We take pride in the details of our work and want to make sure our residents are 100% satisfied.
The quality assurance team meets regularly to ensure that we are providing excellent care on an on-going basis. We are constantly evaluating performance to make sure residents and families are satisfied.
Our staffing structure provides each resident with a greater amount of individual attention allowing for an improved overall feeling of satisfaction.
We are well-connected with other area healthcare professionals to help meet all the residents’ health needs. We have a visiting physician group, podiatrist, lab, and pharmacy. These professionals make frequent visits to our communities to resolve health concerns quickly and conveniently.
Our activity program has been designed by a Nationally Certified Activity Director giving residents the most beneficial, age-appropriate activities available.
Castle Senior Living’s program is designed to create and continuously develop skilled caregivers. We have proven that by creating better educated staff it will, in turn, lend itself to providing a higher level of care and support. This is why our staff is trained well beyond state requirements throughout employment. This can be seen throughout the orientation process, monthly in-servicing, and on-going continuing education opportunities.
We can facilitate special ordering requests from the residents and deliver items to the community hassle-free.
I want to thank you and your entire staff for the wonderful care extended to my mother over the years.
Being a resident at Ruby Castle provided her with a true sense of being in a family setting as she went through her transition from independent living to assisted living. Your company provided me with a valuable service and helped me during a stressful time.
Last week during a meeting with Community Care I had expressed the above feelings and they agreed that your organization was excellent and they would not hesitate recommending Castle Senior Living to other families. Best of luck and a prosperous future to all involved with Castle Senior Living.EugeneSon of Resident
My mother has dementia and for a long time she insisted on going "home" without being able to say where she was. I was happy to see that when we took her out, she was so relieved to return to Victorian Castle. I have only positive things to say about this community and all the great caregivers. They are all committed and professional.RobertaDaughter of Resident
I was very pleased that the leadership and managers through the years were always willing to listen to our family's concerns and to make changes in the plan that were actually carried out. Many thanks!DianeDaughter of Resident
